Yesterday, from far away Lisboa, some anonymous websurfer reminded me of an entry I'd made in March 30 of last year. The entry was primarily about toads, and mentions the "lonely leopard frog" calling in vain among the copious trilling of the toads. here is the easy path, if you don't wish to read all the entries until you find it.

It seems that last year, the toads were here long before the leopard frogs, but this year, it's only just getting into being March, and the leopard frogs are quite numerous and active. I have not seen nor heard the toads yet.
